These come from a previous work called "las piedras de sal" (The salt stones) based on a poem by León Felipe, drawings from the 80's and 90's. The sketches are also a work parallel with the "Apuntes melancólicos" and ablatives from 2003, because these are the small format embossings that truly work as sketches or drafts for the major piece. The idea is the same, to make it so that each matrix works as a minimum sign unit in order to create communication, as if each stamp matrix were a Kanji.
